Current status
As of the date above, HappyLearningKids.com participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to let sites earn a commission by linking to Amazon.com. This includes both individual affiliate links placed inside activity and guide pages (like measuring cups for a kitchen-math activity), and our dedicated Recommended Products for Parents system described below. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases — at no extra cost to you. The site does not run display advertising (banner ads, AdSense, or similar) and has no other sponsorship arrangements.
Recommended Products for Parents
Our Recommended Products for Parents page, and the “What You May Need” boxes that appear inside activities, worksheets, and games, work the same way. Every product shown there is chosen for parents and caregivers to consider — never something we ask a child to click or buy. Each card lists only what our team can honestly say: a suggested age range, the skill it supports, and where it fits in a learning routine. We do not list prices, star ratings, availability, or technical specifications, and we do not copy or paraphrase Amazon customer reviews. That information changes constantly and only Amazon’s own product page can state it accurately — which is why every “View on Amazon” button sends you to a live Amazon page (sometimes a specific listing, sometimes a live search for that type of product) rather than a number we made up.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. That statement, exactly as Amazon requires it, applies to every Amazon link on this site. You will also see a “Paid link” label directly on each product button and a short reminder line under every group of recommendations, so the disclosure sits right next to the link it describes — not only on this page.
Affiliate & Advertising Policy
These rules govern every affiliate link and product recommendation on HappyLearningKids.com:
- No fake urgency, countdowns, or “limited stock” claims — we do not control Amazon’s pricing or inventory, so we do not make claims about either.
- No hidden links, cloaked redirects, or affiliate links disguised as something else; every affiliate link is marked “Paid link” where it appears.
- No pages exist solely to hold affiliate links. Recommended products always sit inside real educational content — an activity, article, worksheet, or the dedicated Recommended Products page — never on a thin, standalone page built only to redirect to Amazon.
- Purchasing language is written for the adult reading the page, not the child using the activity. We do not ask children to buy anything, collect information from them, or design purchase flows around them.
- Product inclusion is based on genuine usefulness for the learning goal at hand, decided by our editorial team — never by commission rate.
Our commitments
The following commitments apply to the affiliate links on this site today, and to any additional advertising we might introduce in the future. This page will always be updated to reflect exactly what’s running:
- Ads and affiliate links will be clearly and visibly labeled as such, distinct from editorial content.
- No advertiser or affiliate partner gets to review, approve, or influence editorial content, recommendations, or rankings in exchange for payment. Product mentions reflect our own editorial judgment about what’s genuinely useful for the activity described, not which link pays the highest commission.
- We will not serve personalized or behaviorally targeted advertising on pages primarily aimed at children, in line with our Child Safety Policy.
- Ad partners and networks will be screened for child-appropriate content standards before being added.
- We will never sell personal data about you or your family to advertisers. See our Privacy Policy.
